More on Safety Check
Safety Check for Workplace is only available to users of Workplace Advanced
Safety Check for Workplace is completely separate from Safety Check for Facebook.
Safety Check for Workplace allows for a designated team of Safety Operators to create, send and manage Safety Checks for their organization's employees when a crisis has been identified. Only Safety Operators can see and manage responses to Safety Check for Workplace.
Safety Check for Facebook is activated by the Facebook community and Safety Check responses are shared with Facebook friends.

A person may respond to a Safety Check with one of two responses: I'm Safe or I Need Assistance. Responses will update in the Status column of the crisis event page in real-time. You'll be able to filter this page based on the response type.
Every member of the safety team for the crisis in question will be sent an automatic email notifying them about people who've marked themselves as needing assistance, so you won't miss when this happens. System Admins can also configure a custom email for these emails via the Admin Panel > Safety Check settings page.
If someone marks themselves as needing assistance, you can click the chat icon next to their name to contact them directly via chat or reach out via any other communication method you choose.

When you create a crisis event, you'll have the option to create either a drill, test or real crisis event. We recommend that you create tests for testing Safety Check functionality.
Drills can be used for running simulated crisis drills that demonstrate notifications, messaging and encourage best practices around safety to your company.
Creating a real crisis event in Safety Check will alert all selected employees that a crisis event may be occurring in their area. Only create these events when a real crisis is in progress.
Notifications sent to employees will clearly indicate if the event is a drill or a test.

After importing people to Safety Check, you'll be shown a results page that displays the number of successfully imported, failed and duplicate employees.
On the error screen, you can download the list of failed imports to try importing them again. The most common issues when importing employees include providing invalid employee ids or emails that don't correspond to users in your community. If the ids or emails appear to be correct, and you can't import the employees after multiple attempts, please contact Workplace Support.
