Executive Visiblity and Accessiblility

Visible and transparent leaders set the tone for engagement across the entire organization and build a stronger company culture.

Employees want open, visible leaders. When leadership teams are engaged, they set the tone for engagement across your organization and help shape your company culture. Executive communication that models transparency and reinforces company values can instill a sense of pride and belonging across your employee base, leading to higher productivity, better customer service, and lower turnover.
Promote Executive posts in News Feed
1. Promote executive posts in News Feed
Make sure your executive team's posts get extra visibility by promoting their posts in the News Feed. Promoting executive's posts in the News Feed will:
  • Make everyone in the organization follow them
  • Make all the posts they share in open groups and on their timeline appear near the top of the News Feed for everyone
  • Make all the posts they share in closed or secret groups appear near the top of the News Feed for all group members
Make sure executives are aware of what will happen after you promote their posts in the News Feed. They won't be able to choose which posts are promoted, but they can control who sees their posts by posting in the groups with the right audience.

You must be an admin to promote someone's posts in the News Feed. Learn how in the Help Center.

To promote specific posts in the News Feed, try Mark as Important. Employees will be prompted to mark important posts as read, and admins will be able to track stats on Seen by, Marked as Read, and Reactions.
Encourage Executive engagement
2. Encourage executive engagement
Ensure your leadership team are leading the charge and regularly engaging with and contributing to posts within key project and company groups. Executive engagement is key to long-term adoption of Workplace. When employees see leadership posting, commenting, and reacting to content on Workplace, they see leaders model the company culture and advocate for more engagement across the entire organization.
To start, try creating a content calendar to stay on track and share a regular stream of executive content across company groups. When executives are too busy to produce their own posts, internal comms teams can use Draft for to write posts on their behalf. Executives will then be able to review, edit and share the post when they're ready. Learn more about Draft for in the Help Center.
